It all began as a joke in 2006, I was with Classic fm in Techiman as a guest presenter on Kofi Bentum’s show dubbed “Samedi Soir”.

I felt I needed to get a different platform to showcase what the lord has instilled in me. I went to Wenchi Royals fm but unfortunately wasn’t welcomed by a fellow presenter who thought I was a threat to him because I could speak French more fluently than him which compelled me to return to Techiman.

It proved to be one of the toughest decisions I had to make because I didn’t know what the future was going to be like even though I was enjoying some little airtime at Wenchi. It took my sixth application letter to land me a job at Asta Fm in Techiman.

I was initially given night programs to host and gradually got pushed to host daytime programs and later got employed fully with a moderate salary after working for almost two years without pay.

Whilst working in Techiman, I used to listen to one presenter in Sunyani by name of Kofi Tikesie on Space fm who was fantastic with his on-air presentation skills. We later became friends. He advised me a lot and encouraged me to keep up with my dedication and determination towards the job.

Space fm was a station I always dreamt to work with which I believe has been the dream of lots of radio presenters in the Brong Ahafo region. Lo and behold, my dream came to pass and I got employed at space fm with the help of Kobby Acheampong ( a former presenter at space fm ) and KOFI Tikesie in the year 2013.

After spending a few months at Space fm, a good friend and a good brother, Beatmaker Ball J Beat recommended me to Mr Abeiku Aggrey Santana “Okay fm” who called me to meet him in Accra which I quickly did because this man has been like a Godfather and a mentor for years.

Upon reaching Accra he told me he wanted to work with me at his new station in Obuasi “O fm”.By then I had not even spent a year with Space fm but had to quickly resign from Space fm to join the Obuasi-based O fm. I was the first to be employed at O fm and was given the drive show “SIKAFUTRO ” and I was later joined by my other colleagues, the likes of Papa Akwatic, Fancy Di Maria, Bishop Gyatabuom Gyata, Oheneba Kwabena Badu…etc.
I hosted the SIKAFUTRO program for almost three years.

Since life is a journey, I had to move on after Flowking Stone came for a show on Obuasi and listened to my show, he inspired me to move to Accra and told me my standard wasn’t for Obuasi. Big ups to Dr Abeiku Santana for the love, support and transformation throughout my stay in Obuasi.

From O fm, I joined Rainbow Radio International in Accra Adabraka through the help of TAGOE Sisters and later got the chance to be employed at Class Media Group “Accra fm” where I currently host the Mid Morning show between 10:00 am and 12midday from Monday to Friday on frequency modulation 100.5 FM. But before getting the chance to work at Accra FM, I was turned down by Mark Okraku Mantey formerly programs manager at Hitz fm. He was given my Demo and he never listened to it same happened when I was introduced to Kasapa fm by my brother Patoo. They took my demo and never listened to it. God has been so good, here I am today.

I can’t end by not thanking you reading this for you have been part of the journey and I appreciate your support and prayers . God bless you 🙏.

Allah bless us all .Love you all. #Class Media-#Accrafm
