According to reliable information, former host of the Nhyira 104.5 FM morning show, Nana Kwadwo Jantuah, who officially announced his resignation earlier today, is set to take up a new challenge as the morning show host for Kumasi’s newest frequency, Ahenfie 106.1 FM, beginning in 2026.
The outspoken broadcaster, widely regarded as one of Ghana’s finest morning show personalities, is known for his bold, no-nonsense approach and his fearless commentary on national issues. Nana Jantuah has earned a solid reputation for speaking truth to power without fear or favour, a quality that has made him a household name across the Ashanti Region and beyond.
For the past five years, he successfully maintained Nhyira FM’s “Kuro Yi Mu Nsem” as one of the most authoritative and influential morning shows in the Garden City, after taking over from veteran broadcaster Kofi Asante Ennin. His sudden resignation came as a shock to many loyal listeners, even though he had informed Nhyira FM management about his decision four months earlier.
Information gathered indicates that all agreements have been finalized with Ahenfie 106.1 FM—a newly established station that began its test transmission this week from Adum, Kumasi. The media brand also operates Ahenfie TV, signaling a strong presence in both radio and television as they prepare to fully launch.
Nana Jantuah has, over the years, declined several lucrative offers from major networks in Kumasi.
Therefore, the fact that Ahenfie FM and TV have successfully convinced him to join their team suggests that the station is entering the media landscape with serious commitment, solid resources, and a clear vision to compete at the highest level.
With Nana Jantuah joining their fold in 2026, Ahenfie 106.1 FM is expected to shake up the morning show ecosystem in Kumasi and possibly shift the media conversation across the nation.
