In a move that has taken many by surprise, Western North’s most celebrated DJ, Nana Kwame Fosuhene—popularly known as DJ Emparo aka The Sefwi Boy—has officially stepped away from radio, leaving a void in the hearts of his loyal listeners.
DJ Emparo, who until now served as the Programs Manager and on-air personality at Agooha 93.7 FM in Adjoafua, made the shocking announcement on his social media
platforms, stating
“Sorry to take a break from radio as I officially end my journey with Agooha FM as Programs Manager and an On-Air Personality.”
His unexpected exit has sparked emotional reactions from fans, colleagues, and industry players alike.
With an enviable career that spans over a decade, DJ Emparo has left his mark across the region, having previously worked with Vision 102.7 FM in Sefwi Debiso Beatz 95.5 FM in SefwinAsawinso and Winners 104.9 FM in Sefwi Essam.
His voice and music have dominated the airwaves, and his presence behind the DJ console has lit up almost every major event and concert in the Western North Region.
Just last year, his incredible contributions earned him a nomination in the Ghana DJ Awards, under the Best DJ – Western North category.
