Fast-rising foreign sports news presenter, Champion PRO, known in private life as Prince Ofori Amanfo, has officially joined the team at Akoma 87.9 FM in Kumasi. His move comes after an impressive three-and-a-half-year run at Duapa 93.5 FM in Konongo.

Champion PRO brings a wealth of experience to Akoma FM, where he will take up the role of the station’s foreign sports news presenter—a position fans are already buzzing about.

Hailing from Berekum in the Bono Region, Champion PRO’s journey through the radio landscape has been nothing short of remarkable. He began his career with After 2 Radio 91.7 FM in Bechem, later moving to Kaakyire 102.9 FM in his hometown, Berekum. His unique flair for international sports earned him a spot at Storm 101.9 FM in Sunyani as their lead foreign news presenter, before he landed at Duapa FM.

Now in the heart of the Ashanti Region, Champion PRO is ready to light up Kumasi’s airwaves with his dynamic style and unmatched energy. Sports fans in the city should buckle up—Champion PRO is here, and he means business!
