Popular Ghanaian radio personality, George Quaye, has reportedly resigned from Multimedia Group, after nearly 5 years.

During his time at the Accra-based media organization, Mr. Quaye was the host of The Late Night Express and Showbiz A to Z which airs on Joy 99.7 Fm. Though the renowned media personality is yet to confirm his resignation, sources close to gbafrica say he is set to take up a new role at rival company Media General and also focus on his own Events, Communications and PR Agency, Image Bureau.

Now Chief Executive of Communications, Brands, Events and Media Consultancy, Image Bureau, headquartered in Accra Ghana, George made his enviable name in Events Planning and Production working as Head of Communications and Public Events for Ghana and indeed one of Africa’s Biggest Events and Marketing Communications Agencies, Charterhouse Productions.

Notable among his achievements in Ghana and Africa’s Events Production Space are the Music Awards Scheme, THE VODAFONE GHANA MUSIC AWARDS, and the Night of 1000 Laughs and Music Series. In 2022, George Nii Armah Quaye was sworn in as the new president of the Arts and Tourism Writers Association of Ghana (ATWAG).
