The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) Journalist of the year, Juliet Bawuah, has officially confirmed her resignation from the Media General Group.
Juliet Bawuah tendered her resignation on January 16, 2023.
The former Group Head of Sports at the Media General was in charge of everything Sports on TV3, 3FM, Onua FM and TV, onuaonline, 3news, Akoma FM, Connect FM, and 3sports.
Conveying her exodus from the outfit, the outstanding sports journalist wrote on her Facebook page,
“PERSONAL STATEMENTS ON MEDIA GENERAL EXIT
On Monday 16th January 2023,
I resigned from my role as the group head of sports at Media General(TV3 and others).
It’s the end of another successful journey.
Thank you for your immense support during my tenure as group head,” she concluded.

Juliet holds a Masters’s from Cardiff University in Wales, United Kingdom, and is an alumna of the US State Department-sponsored International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), as well as a Fellow of the Radio Netherlands Training Centre (RNTC).
She holds other certificates from two of Ghana’s prestigious journalism institutions, the Ghana Institute of Journalism and the African University College of Communications.
Juliet previously worked with CITI FM, Metro TV, and ETV Ghana. And also a contributor to GOAL and Cafonline.
With the experiences, she’s garnered
in the sports world over the years,
Juliet is a go-to contributor on sports in Africa for SuperSport, BBC, Aljazeera, TRT World, Premier League TV, La Liga TV, Franc,e 24, and DW. She is also a founding employee of the Euronews-run Africanews, where she was based in Pointe-Noire, Republic of Congo.
