Media personality George Quaye has debunked the assertion that he’s joining the Media General Group(MG). According to him, he’s not decided on which media house he’s pitching camp with yet.
When rumors of George Quaye’s resignation surfaced on social media, netizens have since gossiped about his next destination, which is 3FM, one of the subsidiaries of the Media General group.
Reacting to the rumours, George Quaye confirmed his resignation from the Multimedia Group Limited(MGL) and denied the story of him joining 3FM.
“I haven’t decided on which media house to join yet. I’ve been approached by a number and I’ve got ongoing conversations with some. But for now, the focus is exclusively on Image Bureau,” he told www.entertainmentgh.com
He additionally told the portal that he’s focused on making his production a powerhouse, however, media work is not out of the equation. He also hinted at the possibility of joining Despite Media.
“So really, we’ve got a full plate. But I love working in the media space. I’ve always wondered what it would be like to host a show in twi. That’s not to say I’m joining the Despite Media Company, but hey, we never say never, do we?”
George Nii Armah Quaye also known as Aboagye or GQ is a Ghanaian actor, Media Personality, Entertainer, and Communications Professional.
He is known for the role he played in the popular TV series in the early 2000s, “Taxi Driver TV series” and was also the Lead Communications Person at Charterhouse Productions Limited.
He was the host of Joy 99.7 FM entertainment show, ‘Showbiz A-Z’ and ‘The Late Night Express’.
