As part of her contribution to government’s quality education drive across the country, she has donated a set of reading books to some schools in the eastern region.
The Second Lady Samira Bawumia through her foundation, the Samira Bawumia Foundation made the donation to some schools in the New Juaben North and South municipalities respectively
She was accompanied by the MP for new Juaben South constituency and leaders of the eastern regional education directorate and party executives
She encouraged the students to develop the taste for reading as such they may acquire more knowledge
Second lady Samira Bawumia noted that it is gratifying to see the government of Nana Akufo Addo focused on its vision of ensuring that quality education is assessable to every child.
Some of the schools that benefited from the donation include Effiduase Presby school, Oyoko Methodist school, Police Basic school and others.
