Fast-growing Ghanaian sports journalist, Solomon Amankwah has joined Media General.

Popularly known as ‘Superman’, the award-winning sports broadcaster has joined the Ghanaian media conglomerate after leaving Atinka Media Village’s Ahoto FM in Takoradi.

Solomon Amankwah has joined Media General after two years with Ahoto FM where he served as the head of the sports department.

Known for his excellent communication skills and clear voice and good pronunciation, Solomon Amankwah also boast of good presentation skills and very confidence and articulate when talking on radio.

The 2020 WRTP sports presenter of the year will be joining the Onua FM/TV sports department headed by Alfred Takyi Mensah formerly of Connect FM in Takoradi in the Western region.

Despite being young, Solomon Amankwah is undoubtedly a force to reckon with in the media space, having worked with several radio stations in the Sekondi-Takoradi metropolis.

He started his career at Sekondi-based Radio Silver before leaving for Ahoto FM in Takoradi.

After a short stay at Ahoto FM, the knowledgeable sportscaster then left for Connect FM before joining Kingdom FM and later to Kyzz FM.

He rejoined Ahoto FM in May, 2021 alongside his godfather Stephen Kwame Yeboah who later left for Connect FM.
