Son of the late Samuel Nuamah Donkor, former New Juaben North Member of Parliament and Ashanti Regional Minister, Samuel Einstein Nuamah Donkor has join the race to contest in the NDC Parliamentary primaries in the Akuapem South Constituency.
Speaking to Afeema News after his filing process on Wednesday, he called on members of the NDC in the Akuapem South constituency to stay united to wrestle the Parliamentary seat for NDC.
The late former minister’s son, believes with unity of purpose and hard work the National Democratic Congress will be victorious.
He noted that, the party needs unity to beat the NPP for the Parliamentary seat which is being occupied by the NPP to develop the constituency.
According to him, wining the seat for NDC has been hostile for the NDC over twenty four years. He believes if elected as the Parliamentary candidate, he will be able to capture the seat for the NDC
The National Democratic Congress has closed nominations for their primaries.
According to the constituency secretary of the NDC in the Constituency, Nana Aboagye, four persons filed nominations to contest in the primaries.
They are, 2016 candidate of the party, Lawrencia Adwoa Dziwornu, late Nuamah Donkor’s son, Samuel Einstein Nuamah Donkor, manager of Peduase Valley Resort, Paul Osae Offei and one popular lawyer.
