
The Sultan Bashiru Salifu Charity Foundation, funded by the Turkish government, has donated food items to 100 orphans in the Nsawam Adoagyir Zongo of the Eastern Region. The donation was made to support the orphans and other people in need in the community.
Chief Dauda Ayuba, the Secretary to the foundation, spoke on behalf of the foundation and called on other persons of the Muslim faith to help provide similar support to those in need as it represents a pillar of the Islamic faith. He emphasized that the Foundation has taken it upon itself to ensure that those in need and orphans living in the community get the needed support to help in their growth and personal development.
The food items donated included bags of rice, oil, and other items. The donation was made to help the orphans and other people in need in the community. The foundation’s message to other religious faiths is to never sleep on their mandate of supporting one another.
