Aduanaba Kofi Asante Ennin, a broadcast journalist at Akoma FM, a subsidiary of Media General, has once again received another feather in his cap as he adds an enviable award to his long list of collection.
The host of GhanAkoma, the morning show programme on Akoma FM, was adjudged as the Radio Personality of the Year in the Ashanti Region at the Radio and Television Personalities (RTP) Awards 2022.
Traditionally held annually, the RTP awards, in its 12th edition, seeks to celebrate media personalities and brands educating, entertaining, informing, inspiring and shaping the Ghanaian society with their various weights.
Akoma FM’s Aduanaba Kofi Asante Ennin after receiving the award and later discussing on Monday, December 12 dedicated it to his team and cherished listeners and followers who have made him what he has become.
“I intentionally didn’t really advertise to my listeners to vote for me because I wanted to see if my followers genuinely love me and they have proven beyond reasonable doubt that I am their favourite.
“The Radio Personality of the Year in Ashanti Region is a huge feat and I am really humbled. This award goes to my team and my fans I love you all.”
