Akua Sika quits Salt FM, joins Happy FM in Accra

Entertainment Presenter Veronica Napoleon, popularly known as Akua Sika, has joined one of Ghana’s largest and most influential radio stations, Happy 98.9 FM, a subsidiary of Global Media Alliance Broadcasting (GMABC).

She is joining Happy FM with over seven (7 ) years of experience in the Ghanaian media space, where she has hosted various entertainment shows across four different media platforms in the Ashanti Region.

Akua Sika is bringing a deep and rich experience in entertainment radio presenting to the listeners of Happy 98.9 FM.

Commenting on her new appointment, Akua Sika expressed excitement about her new role at Happy 98.9 FM.

“God’s time is the best. Thank you all for the love and support. Here’s to another acceleration. God did. Let’s grow happy together on Happy FM,” she said.

Speaking about how she intends to grow her career at Happy 98.9 FM, Akua Sika said: “With a rich blend of experience in radio and television presentations, I believe I can contribute meaningfully to the already successful GMABC brand.

I will continue to learn and broaden my knowledge in industry and remain in-tune to the needs and wants of my new listeners at Happy FM.”

Apart from Salt FM, Akua Sika has had stints with Kapital radio as a co-host of their Drivetime show, on ITV and Amen TV she hosted “B) me filla” – a gossip entertainment show.
