The situation has since prevented her from going about her normal duties especially going back to school.

The Koforidua based journalist and his team earlier presented food items to the victim in December and later took it upon himself to help fix the lost leg with a prosthetics after deliberations with the family.

However, the journalist solicited for funds from colleagues, old school classmates and clients and was able to raise the undisclosed amount needed.

“I am happy to announce that the girl has had her leg fix with the artificial one after two weeks of good job by doctors of St Joseph hospital in Koforidua and she is now able to walk on it” Mr. Amartey Kanarku told the reporter.

Meanwhile, Madam Anita Tuabeah has happily returned back to school happily to continue her education.

“I am appealing to cooperate bodies and individuals to support the needy in our society to make it a better place for all” the journalist stressed.
