Popular radio and television personality Oheneni Adazoa has officially announced her departure from Sompa FM after serving as host of the widely followed Sompa Nkommo programme for four years and two months.
In an emotional farewell on Friday, June 5, 2026, Adazoa expressed profound gratitude to the management of Sompa FM, especially the CEO and leadership team, for believing in her and giving her the opportunity to grow one of the station’s most successful programmes.
She also thanked God for His guidance throughout her journey and apologised to anyone she may have offended during her tenure.The touching moment saw tears flowing as she prayed for her successor and reflected on her memorable years with the station.
Meanwhile, I reported in the morning that Oheneni Adazoa is set to join Ahenfie FM/TV in Kumasi, where she is expected to host a similar programme known as Ahenfie Nkommo. The move to Ahenfie FM and Tv was finalized months ago, with preparations already underway for her official debut.
