
Members of the Aged Help Foundation Ghana have donated items worth thousands of cedis to the Basco Community (orphanage home) at Akote- Trotor in the Suhum Municipality of the Eastern Region on the New Year, Monday, January 1, 2024.
This kind gesture forms part of their regular donations and help they extend to the poor and needy, the Aged and venerable people in the society.



The items donated include Rice, Oil, Sugar, assorted drinks, toiletries, clothes etc. The group had a get together party with the children a week earlier on Monday, December 25, 2023 to eat and dance with them.
The head of the Basco Community, Bishop Emmanuel Seyie extended his heartfelt appreciation for the kind gesture and also pleased for more support.
Mr George Pobi, the team lead of the Foundation stated that they are happy to touch lives through their periodical donations and they are prepared to do more and even extend to other orphanages.
Rev. Gilbert Peasah also encouraged other groups and individuals to also reach out to the less privileged and the poor in the society as stated in Isaiah 58:7.
Aged Help Foundation Ghana is expected to organize another donation in other parts of the Eastern Region.
